The front door opens into a large Lounge which has an exposed timber floor with quality rug, two large leather settees, cast iron gas stove, plasma TV, DVD/video and stereo, together with antique pine chest and Singer sowing machine occasional table.

The final door leads to the large Master Bedroom with large, very comfortable and imposing cast iron bed, large antique chest of drawers, gents 3/4 wardrobe and bedside cabinet.  The room has the original cast iron fire place, exposed floorboards and a large thick Chinese rug that you can dig your toes into.

Ground Floor

Through the ledged and braced door is the stair lobby and through another ledged and braced door you enter the large dining kitchen.

The Kitchen/Diner Room is fitted with quality modern units.  Belfast sink and an antique pine table with old school benches for seating.  The kitchen is equipped with fridge, washer-dryer, microwave and electric oven and hob, together with the usual taster, cafetier and place settings for eight.

The Bathroom has exposed original floorboards and an exposed stone feature wall.  The bathroom comprises of a period white 3 piece suite with shower over bath and a shaver point.

As you come to the top of the stairs, having past the stock of reading books, on the left you will find a good sized bathroom.

First Floor

Next on the left down the landing is the good sized second bedroom which has a double divan bed, large pine chest of drawers and a single bedside drawer unit.  The room has a period cast iron fireplace, original inset shelves, exposed floorboards and a full height cupboard which houses the new (silent) combination boiler. The room boasts good views up the valley through the sash window.

Turning right at the top of the stairs you will walk down a long landing with original exposed floor boards with a thick runner. The first bedroom on the left is the third/childrens bedroom.

The Third/Childrens Bedroom has a triple bunk bed (4 foot double on the bottom with a single over), antique small chest of drawers, portable colour TV and an external door which leads out on to the passageway (door has alarm which sounds when open for security purposes).  Once again the floorboards are exposed complimented with a nice rug for your toes.

Outside

To the rear of the property is a small cliff top garden with two cast iron benches for the hot summer nights where you can chill out with a bottle of wine, take in the sea air, the scent of the flowers and marvel a the roof top views whilst being sheltered from the wind by the retaining wall.  To get to the garden take the 40 or so well worn stone steps up the side of the cottage, so if you plan to have a drink up there we suggest you take a supply!.

 

Gas, electricity and bed linen costs are included in the tariff, but please bring you own towels.  Primrose also has the benefit of a parking pass for Fisherhead car park.
